Webinar Zoom Link: ReWildLongIsland.org/webinar

This interactive one-hour workshop empowers parents to adopt healthier eating habits for themselves and their families. Learn how processed foods impact physical and mental health, explore the hidden dangers of harmful additives, and uncover how marketing tricks target children to promote unhealthy eating. Alongside understanding artificial and processed food, understand how clean and healthy food has everlasting benefits to someone's health. Discover how small changes can create lasting positive effects on your family’s health and leave with actionable steps and resources to support cleaner, more sustainable eating habits.

This workshop is led by Janna Arafa, a high school student at Al-Mamoor School. Janna is leading an initiative to promote healthier eating and reduce the consumption of processed and artificial foods. Through ThinkB4YouBite, a student-led community awareness campaign under the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) organization, Janna and her team are dedicated to encouraging healthier food choices and fostering a greater understanding of nutrition within the community.
